About the New Balance NBK163

The New Balance NBK163 is a round, full rim frame designed for kids. Spring hinges provide flexibility and durability during active wear.

This frame measures 46-19-130 (lens width-bridge-temple in millimeters). The 46mm lens width is narrow, and the 19mm bridge is average for this lens size. Compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that currently fits well to determine if this frame will work.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the NBK163?

It comes in one size, 46-19-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 44–48 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the NBK163 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
