About the Nike 5072
The Nike 5072 is a full rim plastic frame with an oval shape, designed for kids. The oval shape tends to suit a range of face shapes by softening angular features.
This frame comes in one size: 49-17-135 mm, with a lens height of 35 mm. The 49 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, and the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width, while the 135 mm temples are short. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 5072?
It comes in one size, 49-17-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 47–51 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 5072 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 35 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the 5072 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
