About the Nike 7240
The Nike 7240 is a full-rim rectangular frame made from plastic (ZYL) material. Designed for men, it features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-17-140 with a 35mm lens height, and 55-17-140 with a 36mm lens height. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 140mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the 7240 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 35 mm in the 53 and 36 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
