About the Nike 8144
The Nike 8144 is a semi-rimless rectangle frame made of metal. Designed for men, this style features exposed lower lens edges while the metal structure provides support along the top and sides.
Available in two sizes: 53-15-145 with a 32 mm lens height, and 55-15-145 with a 33 mm lens height. The 53 mm to 55 mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 15 mm bridge is narrow for frames of this lens width. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the 8144 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 32 mm in the 53 and 33 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
