About the Perry Ellis PE429
The Perry Ellis PE429 is a full rim pillow-shaped frame designed for men. The pillow shape offers softly rounded corners that work well for angular or square face shapes. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 53-17-140. The 53mm lens width is a regular fit, and the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width, meaning it will sit similarly to most standard glasses. The 140mm temples are standard length—you can compare these measurements to your current frames to determine if this will fit you the same way.

It comes in one size, 53-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PE429 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
