About the Ray-Ban RB3734V
The Ray-Ban RB3734V is an irregular-shaped frame with a full rim construction and regular hinges. This unisex frame works for adults seeking a distinctive frame shape that differs from standard rectangular or round styles.
Available in two sizes: 54-18-140 and 56-18-145, measured in millimeters for lens width, bridge width, and temple length. The lens width of 54mm to 56mm is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 54 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the RB3734V good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What is the difference between RX3734V and RB3734V?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
