About the Ray-Ban RB5245
The Ray-Ban RB5245 is a square-shaped, full-rim frame designed for men. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 54-17-140, measured in millimeters for lens width, bridge width, and temple length. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the RB5245?
It comes in one size, 54-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the RB5245 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What is the difference between RX5245 and RB5245?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
