About the Ray-Ban RB5428
The Ray-Ban RB5428 is a square-shaped frame made from acetate plastic in a full-rim construction with regular hinges. This unisex frame works well for those who prefer the structured look of square eyewear.
Available in two sizes: 53-17-145 with a 37mm lens height, and 55-17-145 with a 38mm lens height. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the RB5428 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 37 mm in the 53 and 38 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5428 and RB5428?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
