About the Ray-Ban RB5455
The Ray-Ban RB5455 is a square-shaped frame made from acetate with a full rim design and regular hinges. This unisex frame suits those who prefer a structured, angular look.
Available in two sizes: 52-17-145 with a lens height of 44mm, and 54-17-145 with a lens height of 45mm. The lens width of 52mm to 54mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. The 145mm temples are standard length, comparable to what you'll find on most eyeglasses you already own.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the RB5455 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm in the 52 and 45 mm in the 54. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5455 and RB5455?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
