About the Ray-Ban RB5510
The Ray-Ban RB5510 is a full rim cat eye frame made from acetate plastic, designed for women. The cat eye shape works well for those who want an upswept, angular look.
This frame comes in two sizes: 50-20-145 with a 40mm lens height, and 52-20-145 with a 42mm lens height. The lens width of 50mm to 52mm is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20mm bridge is wide for this lens width, which means it will sit farther from your face than other frames with similar lens sizes. The 145mm temples are standard length.

Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the RB5510 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 50 and 42 mm in the 52. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5510 and RB5510?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
