About the Ray-Ban RB6396
The Ray-Ban RB6396 is a full rim metal frame in a phantos shape, designed for men. The round-influenced phantos shape works well for those with angular or square face shapes.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-19-140 with a 42mm lens height, and 53-19-145 with a 44mm lens height. The lens widths of 51mm and 53mm provide a regular fit, while the 19mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the RB6396 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm in the 51 and 44 mm in the 53. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX6396 and RB6396?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
