The Ray-Ban RB6552 is a full rim metal frame with an irregular shape. This unisex design works for those seeking a contemporary geometric look in metal construction.
Available in two sizes: 53-18-145 with a lens height of 38mm, and 56-18-145 with a lens height of 40mm. The lens width of 53mm to 56mm is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the RB6552 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm in the 53 and 40 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX6552 and RB6552?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
