About the Ray-Ban RB7047
The RB7047 is a full-rim square frame in lightweight plastic, with a broad, confident front that suits men who want a larger, more structured look. The engraved code is RB7047 and the catalogue code is RX7047; both refer to this frame.
It comes in three sizes: 52-17-140 (lens height 36 mm), 54-17-140 (37 mm) and 56-17-145 (39 mm). The 17 mm bridge is proportional to the lens width and the frame is wide across the face, so check your current glasses before choosing. Colors include black, Havana, transparent and blue finishes.

Which size should I choose: 52, 54 or 56?
Look at the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52, if 53–55 take the 54, and if 55–57 take the 56. The 56 also has the longer 145 mm temples.
Is the RB7047 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Lens heights of 36–39 mm are above the roughly 30 mm that labs ask for, so the distance, intermediate and reading zones all fit.
What is the difference between RB7047 and RX7047?
Nothing in the frame. RB7047 is the code engraved on the temple and RX7047 is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list it as RX7047 so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
