About the Ray-Ban RB7056
The Ray-Ban RB7056 is a square-shaped frame made from plastic with full rims. This men's frame works well for those who prefer the structured look of a square shape.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-17-145 with a 36mm lens height, and 55-17-145 with a 37mm lens height. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the RB7056 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 53 and 37 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX7056 and RB7056?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
I would give them more stars if it would let me. I didn’t know them but saw excellent prices. The service and quality are fantastic too. Really pleased with the great communication and care. A very enjoyable experience.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
