About the Ray-Ban RB7217
The Ray-Ban RB7217 is a full-rim rectangular frame made from plastic with regular hinges. This unisex style works for those who prefer a classic rectangular shape.
Available in two sizes: 52-22-145 with a 40mm lens height, and 54-22-145 with a 41mm lens height. The lens width of 52mm to 54mm provides a regular fit, while the 22mm bridge is wide for frames of this lens width. The 145mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses feel tight across the nose, this wider bridge may be more comfortable.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the RB7217 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 52 and 41 mm in the 54. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX7217 and RB7217?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
