At 54mm to 56mm, the Ray-Ban RB8423 offers a wide lens width that suits medium to larger faces. If your current glasses measure 52mm or less across each lens, these will feel noticeably wider.
The 36mm lens height provides sufficient vertical space for progressive lenses. Wearers who need a multifocal prescription will have adequate room for the reading, intermediate, and distance zones.
The square metal rimless design works well on round or oval faces by adding definition. Angular face shapes such as square or rectangular may find the frame emphasizes rather than softens their natural lines.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
