About the Ray-Ban RY1631
The Ray-Ban RY1631 is a full rim phantos frame designed for kids. The rounded phantos shape suits children with angular or square face shapes.
This frame comes in four size options: 45-16-130, 45-16-130 with 38mm lens height, 47-16-130, and 47-16-130 with 40mm lens height. The lens width of 45mm to 47mm is narrow, and the 16mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. The 130mm temples are short, so if your child's current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to the head.

Which size should I choose, 45 or 47?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 44–46 mm take the 45; if it is 46–48 mm take the 47.
Is the RY1631 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm in the 45 and 40 mm in the 47. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
