About the Smart S2835
The Smart S2835 is a plastic frame designed for women. It features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame measures 47-16-132 mm (lens width-bridge-temple length), with a lens height of 33 mm. The 47 mm lens width is narrow, suiting smaller faces, while the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 132 mm temples are short, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your ears.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S2835?
It comes in one size, 47-16-132. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 45–49 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S2835 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 33 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
