About the Smart S2888

The Smart S2888 is a full rim frame designed for unisex wear. Spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples for improved comfort and durability.

This frame measures 54-17-145: a 54mm lens width, 17mm bridge, and 145mm temples. The 54mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the S2888?

It comes in one size, 54-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the S2888 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
