About the Smilen Elite 43
The Smilen Elite 43 is a square-shaped men's frame in acetate with full rims. The square shape provides structured, angular lines suited to men seeking bold, defined eyewear.
This frame measures 62-20-150 (lens width 62mm, bridge 20mm, temple 150mm). The 62mm lens width is very wide, and the 20mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame sits farther from your face than typical glasses. The 150mm temples are long, accommodating larger head sizes.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Is the 43 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the 43 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
Prescription lens options for the Smilen Elite 43
OmniLux® NAL®
– next-gen no-line multifocal lenses, exclusive to BestNewGlasses.com.
Single vision
– one prescription across the whole lens, for distance or reading.
Progressive

iLux™

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
