About the STEVE MADDEN LEAGUE
The STEVE MADDEN LEAGUE is a full rim acetate frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges for flexibility and durability. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure and structural support.
This frame comes in two sizes: 47-15-130 with a lens height of 33mm, and 49-15-130 with a lens height of 33mm. The lens width of 47mm to 49mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width and the 130mm temples are short. If your child's current glasses have wider lenses, a broader bridge, or longer temples, these will fit smaller in comparison.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 47 or 49?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 46–48 mm take the 47; if it is 48–50 mm take the 49.
Is the LEAGUE good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 33 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
