About the STEVE MADDEN TILMAN

The STEVE MADDEN TILMAN is a full rim acetate frame designed for kids. It includes spring hinges for flexibility and durability.

This frame comes in two sizes: 47-15-130 with a lens height of 37mm, and 49-15-130 with a lens height of 37mm. The lens width of 47mm to 49mm is on the narrow side of regular, and the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, which means it will sit closer on the nose than many frames with similar lens sizes. The 130mm temples are short compared to standard glasses.

Which size should I choose, 47 or 49?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 46–48 mm take the 47; if it is 48–50 mm take the 49.

Is the TILMAN good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 37 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
