About the Tony Hawk THK36
The Tony Hawk THK36 is a full rim rectangle frame designed for kids. It features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for durability and comfort during active wear.
This frame comes in one size: 50-17-135 mm (lens width-bridge-temple). The 50 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, and the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 135 mm temples are short, so compare these measurements to glasses that currently fit well before ordering.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the THK36?
It comes in one size, 50-17-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 48–52 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the THK36 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
Prescription lens options for the Tony Hawk THK36
OmniLux® NAL®

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
