About the Tuscany 698

The Tuscany 698 is a men's full rim frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction encircles the lenses completely, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame measures 54-18-145: a 54mm lens width, 18mm bridge, and 145mm temples. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 698?

It comes in one size, 54-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 698 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
