About the Tuscany 705

The Tuscany 705 is a full rim frame designed for women. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.

This frame measures 53-17-145: a 53mm lens width (regular fit), 17mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 145mm temples (standard length). The regular lens width suits most face sizes, while the average bridge spacing works for typical nose widths. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 705?

It comes in one size, 53-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 705 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
