The Tuscany 722 is a full rim frame designed for men, featuring spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability. The full rim construction fully encircles the lenses for a complete, structured look.
This frame measures 56-17-145: a 56mm lens width (wide), a 17mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 145mm temples (standard length). The wide lens width suits larger faces, while the average bridge spacing works for typical nose widths in this size range. What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
