About the Tuscany 773
The Tuscany 773 is a full rim metal frame designed for women. The metal construction with spring hinges provides durability and flexibility at the temples.
This frame measures 54-17-140, where 54mm is the lens width (a regular fit), 17mm is the bridge width (average for this lens size), and 140mm is the temple length (standard). The 54mm lens width fits similarly to most standard eyeglasses, while the 17mm bridge provides average spacing between lenses.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 773?
It comes in one size, 54-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 773 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
