About the Tuscany 780

The Tuscany 780 is a full rim metal frame designed for women. The metal construction with spring hinges provides durability and flexibility at the temples.

This frame measures 55-17-140: a 55mm lens width (regular fit), 17mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 140mm temples (standard length). The regular lens width and average bridge spacing deliver a moderate fit across the front of the face, comparable to most standard women's frames you may already own.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 780?

It comes in one size, 55-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 780 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
