About the Urban 101
The Urban 101 is a men's full rim plastic frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction encircles the lenses completely, and the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 51-18-145 (lens width 51mm, bridge 18mm, temple 145mm). The 51mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, which means a closer fit than average frames. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your current frames are 53mm or larger in lens width, these will fit noticeably smaller.

Which size is the 101?
It comes in one size, 51-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 101 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
