About the Urban 147
The Urban 147 is a men's full rim plastic frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for improved durability and comfort.
This frame measures 52-19-145 (lens width 52mm, bridge 19mm, temple 145mm). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, suitable for small to medium faces, and the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
