About the Versace VE1287

The Versace VE1287 is a pilot-shaped frame made from steel with a full rim construction. This is a men's frame with the classic aviator silhouette.

This frame comes in two sizes: 57-13-145 with a 48mm lens height, and 59-13-145 with a 49mm lens height. The lens width of 57mm to 59mm is very wide, while the 13mm bridge is narrow for frames with lenses this wide, and the 145mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses have a wider bridge, these will sit closer at the nose.

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 56–58 mm take the 57; if it is 58–60 mm take the 59.

Is the VE1287 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 48 mm in the 57 and 49 mm in the 59. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
