About the STEVE MADDEN AIRENNE
The STEVE MADDEN AIRENNE is a full rim frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort. This construction suits active children who need glasses that can withstand daily wear.
Available in two sizes: 48-15-130 and 50-15-135. The lens width of 48mm to 50mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, meaning the frame sits closer on the nose than many other glasses. The 130mm temple length is short, making these best suited for smaller heads—compare these measurements to your child's current glasses to determine fit.

Which size should I choose, 48 or 50?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 47–49 mm take the 48; if it is 49–51 mm take the 50.
Is the AIRENNE good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
