About the Bocci Eyewear 388
The Bocci Eyewear 388 is a full rim frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added durability during active wear. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure and structural stability.
This frame measures 46-16-135mm (lens-bridge-temple). The 46mm lens width is narrow, and the 16mm bridge is average for this lens width, while the 135mm temples are short. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 388?
It comes in one size, 46-16-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 44–48 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 388 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
Prescription lens options for the Bocci 388
OmniLux® NAL®
– next-gen no-line multifocal lenses, exclusive to BestNewGlasses.com.
Single vision
– one prescription across the whole lens, for distance or reading.
Progressive

iLux™

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
