About the Nike 5048
The Nike 5048 is a full rim rectangular frame made from plastic, designed for kids. The frame features spring hinges for flexibility and durability during active wear.
This frame comes in one size: 49-13-130 mm (lens width-bridge-temple length), with a lens height of 33 mm. The 49 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, and the 13 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, which means it will sit closer on the nose than many frames. The 130 mm temples are short, so compare these measurements to glasses that currently fit well before ordering.

Is the 5048 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
