About the 4U US70

The 4U US70 is a full rim unisex frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame comes in two sizes: 52-17-135 and 55-17-140. The lens width of 52mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, and the 17mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. The temple length measures 135mm to 140mm, which is shorter than standard—compare this to your current glasses to determine if this length works for you.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose, 52 or 55?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.

Is the US70 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
