About the Capri 85
The Capri 85 is a rectangular metal frame with a full rim design and spring hinges. This unisex style works for those who prefer structured, angular frames in metal construction.
Available in three sizes: 52-18-140 with 29mm lens height, 54-18-145 with 30mm lens height, and 56-18-150 with 32mm lens height. The lens widths from 52mm to 56mm are wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses and take the closest one: 52, 54 or 56.
Is the 85 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 29 mm in the 52, 30 mm in the 54 and 32 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
These frames has broken for the third time in under a year. Best glasses did a great job with glasses issues but I will not buy another pair of these frames.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
