About the 4U US131
The 4U US131 is a full rim rectangular frame made from plastic. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort. This unisex style works for a range of face shapes.
The frame comes in one size: 53-20-150, with a 53mm lens width, 20mm bridge, and 150mm temples. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 20mm bridge is wide for this lens width, sitting farther from your face than most frames with 53mm lenses. The 150mm temples are long, extending farther back than standard—compare these measurements to your current glasses to determine fit.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the US131?
It comes in one size, 53-20-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the US131 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
