About the Capri Optics 7705
The Capri Optics 7705 is a full rim pilot frame made from metal with spring hinges. This unisex style works for wearers who prefer the classic aviator-inspired shape in a metal construction.
Available in two sizes: 53-16-140 and 57-16-145, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The lens width of 53mm to 57mm is wide, while the 16mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 57?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 56–58 mm take the 57.
Is the 7705 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
