The Konishi KA5884 is a full rim rectangular frame made from acetate plastic. Designed for men, this frame features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability.

Is the KA5884 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
