About the Konishi KA5871

The Konishi KA5871 is a full rim rectangular frame made from acetate plastic. Designed for men, this frame features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 53-18-145, with a lens height of 39mm. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5871?

It comes in one size, 53-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5871 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
