About the Ray-Ban RB3768V
The RB3768V is a rimless metal frame: slim metal temples and bridge with the lenses mounted directly, so there is almost no frame in view. It is unisex and wide across the face. The engraved code is RB3768V and the catalogue code is RX3768V; both refer to this frame.
It comes in 54-17-145 (lens height 37 mm) and 56-17-145 (39 mm), with a 17 mm bridge. Colors in stock: Arista Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Green. Rimless lenses are drilled and mounted by our lab; a thinner, impact-resistant lens material is recommended and offered in the lens step.

Which size should I choose, 54 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56. The 17 mm bridge and 145 mm temples are the same in both.
Are rimless frames fragile?
Modern rimless mounts are sturdy in normal use, but the lens edges are exposed, so a thinner, impact-resistant lens material is the right choice. Our lab drills and mounts the lenses to Ray-Ban's specification.
What is the difference between RB3768V and RX3768V?
Nothing in the frame. RB3768V is the engraved code and RX3768V is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list it as RX3768V so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
