About the Affordable Designs LEONA

The Affordable Designs LEONA is a women's rectangular plastic frame with full rims and spring hinges. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes.

This frame comes in one size: 58-17-145, with a lens height of 45 mm. The 58 mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the LEONA?

It comes in one size, 58-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 56–60 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the LEONA good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 45 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
