About the Konishi KF8459

The Konishi KF8459 is a semi-rimless round frame designed for women. The round shape works well for angular face shapes, while the semi-rimless construction keeps the look lighter than a full-rim frame.

This frame measures 49-16-135mm (lens width, bridge width, temple length). The 49mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, suitable for smaller faces, and the 16mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 135mm temples are short—if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your head.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KF8459?

It comes in one size, 49-16-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 47–51 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KF8459 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What does semi-rimless mean?

A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
