About the AirMag A6272
The AirMag A6272 is a full rim rectangle frame made from a combination of metal and plastic. Designed for women, this frame features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 53-17-140, with a lens height of 42mm. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your current frames fit well.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the A6272?
It comes in one size, 53-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the A6272 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
