About the SYNQ SY1004XL

The SYNQ SY1004XL is a men's rectangular frame made from metal in a semi-rimless construction. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort.

This frame measures 58-18-155: a wide 58mm lens width, an 18mm bridge (average for this lens width), and long 155mm temples. The wide lenses suit larger faces, while the average bridge spacing works for most nose widths in this size range. Compare these measurements to glasses that currently fit you well.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the SY1004XL?

It comes in one size, 58-18-155. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 56–60 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the SY1004XL good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
