About the Capri PT212

The Capri PT212 is a round metal frame with a full rim design, made for kids. Spring hinges provide flexible, durable wear for active children.

This frame measures 44-17-130: the 44mm lens width is narrow, the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 130mm temples are short. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will help you determine if this frame is similarly sized or smaller.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the PT212?

It comes in one size, 44-17-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 42–46 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the PT212 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
