About the Capri GR829

The Capri GR829 is a rectangular plastic frame with a full rim design. The spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples. This men's frame works for those who prefer a structured, angular look.

This frame measures 58-18-150: the 58mm lens width is wide, the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 150mm temples are long. The wide lenses cover more of your field of vision than narrower frames. If your current glasses have a bridge around 18mm, this will sit similarly on your nose.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the GR829?

It comes in one size, 58-18-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 56–60 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the GR829 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
