About the Lacoste L2993
The Lacoste L2993 is a rectangular full-rim frame made from acetate. Designed for men, this style works well for those who prefer a classic rectangular shape with complete lens coverage.
Available in two sizes: 54-18-150 with a lens height of 38mm, and 57-18-150 with a lens height of 40mm. The lens width of 54mm to 57mm is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 150mm temples are long. If your current glasses have smaller lenses or shorter temples, these will feel noticeably larger and extend further along the sides of your head.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 54 or 57?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 56–58 mm take the 57.
Is the L2993 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm in the 54 and 40 mm in the 57. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the L2993 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
