About the Ray-Ban RB7554
The Ray-Ban RB7554 is a semi-rim metal frame with a rectangular shape. The metal construction forms the top portion of the lenses while leaving the bottom rimless, and the unisex design works for a range of face shapes that suit rectangular frames.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-18-145 with a 36mm lens height, and 55-18-145 with a 37mm lens height. The lens widths of 53mm and 55mm provide a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for these lens widths, and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the RB7554 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 53 and 37 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RB7554 and RX7554?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
