About the Ray-Ban RY1616D
The Ray-Ban RY1616D is an oval-shaped frame made from injected material with a full rim design. This unisex frame works for wearers who prefer oval styling.
Available in two sizes: 45-15-140 with a lens height of 32 mm, and 47-15-140 with a lens height of 33 mm. The lens width of 45 mm to 47 mm is narrow, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, meaning it sits closer on the nose than many frames with similar lens sizes. The 140 mm temples are standard length, comparable to most eyeglasses you may already own.

Which size should I choose, 45 or 47?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 44–46 mm take the 45; if it is 46–48 mm take the 47.
Is the RY1616D good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 32 mm in the 45 and 33 mm in the 47. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
